PrefaceNowadays, electroplating technology has become a very important modern processing technology, it has long been not only metal surface protection and decorative processing means, although protection and decorative electroplating still account for a large proportion of electroplating processing. The functional uses of electroplating are more and more extensive. Especially in the electronic industry, communications and military industry, aerospace and other fields in the use of functional electroplating technology.

Common electroplating technology

1.Cyanide free alkaline bright copper

The pre-plating and thickening of copper alloy can be completed in one step. The thickness of the coating can reach more than 10 μm. The brightness of the coating, such as acid bright copper coating, can be blackened by blackening treatment, and it has been running normally in 10,000 liters for two years.

2.Cyanide free bright silver plating

The common type is thiosulfate as complexing agent, and the advanced type is sulfur-free organic compound as main complexing agent. The thickness of the coating is over 40 μm, the surface resistance of the coating is 41 μ Ω, the hardness is HV101.4, and the thermal shock is 250 ℃, which is very close to the performance of silver cyanide plating.

3.     Cyanide-free autocatalytic electroless gold plating

The main salt is Na _ 3 [Au-so _ 3], the thickness of gold layer is up to 1.5 μm, which has been used in gold plating on high density flexible circuit board and electronic ceramics.

4.Non-formaldehyde Auto-Catalytic Electroless Copper plating

Used for through-hole plating and non-conductor surface metallization of circuit boards. To replace toxic formaldehyde with cheap nontoxic hypophosphate, there is no commercial product at home and abroad. The deposition rate is 3 ~ 4 μm / h, the lifetime is over 10 cycles MTO), the coating is compact and bright. But it needs further improvement and pilot test.

5.Pure palladium plating

Ni can cause dermatitis, the EU has long refused to import Ni-containing jewelry, palladium is the best substitute Ni metal. The project, which was completed in 1997, includes two processes, one is thin palladium plating with a thickness of 0.1 ~ 0.2 μm, which has been used as an anticorrosive decorative coating and anti-silver discoloration coating on copper and tin, and the other is a thick palladium plating with a thickness of 3 μm without cracks (at present international level, because palladium is expensive). At present has not entered the domestic market.

6.Blue and white and color passivator for chromium zinc trivalent coating

Use trivalent chromium salt instead of cancer-causing hexavalent chromium salt. Blue and white passivated color such as chrome coating, through neutral salt spray test for more than 26 hours, has experienced ten years of market test. The color passivation has completed the laboratory research, the color is bright, but must pilot test.

7.Pure gold plating

The main salt is K [Aufen CNN 2], which belongs to the process of micro-cyanide. The purity of gold coating is 99.990.The bonding strength of gold wire is more than 5 μm, and the shear strength of solder ball is 25 μm) > 1.2 kg. Nupe hardness H < 90, has been used in high density flexible circuit board gold plating

 

8.White steel plating

There are two kinds: PdC60NII (40) and PdC80NII (20), which have been used in electronic products as substitute gold coating and anti-silver discoloration layer.

9.Other technologies
