FIN-40

The FIN-40 is used for the post-treatment of zinc and zinc alloy passivated surfaces.

It contains two kinds of additives, namely the FIN-41 Sealing Concentrate and the FIN-42 Nanometer Sealant. The FIN-41 can be used separately for sealing. It provides a bright and transparent sealing layer. After drying, it not only improves anti-corrosion ability and unify the bright appearance of the exterior, but also reduces fingerprint sensitivity.

The drying temperature should not exceed 140 °C. Higher temperature will cause the discoloration of the passivation layer.

The workpieces that have been sealed with FIN-40 should be baked out or dried by using a spin dryer.


FIN-70

The FIN-70 is used for the post-treatment of the passivated surfaces of zinc and zinc alloy. It can be used to treat almost any complex workpiece, especially door and window connectors.

The FIN-70 sealing concentrate can provide a clear, transparent and organic protective coating. After drying, an organic, protective coating with improved anti-corrosion ability, anti-fingerprinting ability and a good appearance can be obtained. When it is used after trivalent chromium blue-white passivation and zinc-nickel transparent passivation, the same transparent appearance can be obtained. The rainbow color on the yellow passivated surface will disappear and form a uniform light yellow color.

The FIN-70 cannot be used for black passivation.

When doing barrel plating, treating passivation directly on the production line is not recommended. Special centrifugal equipment should be used for passivation treatment.

The FIN-70 sealant can be used to treat wet and pre-drying workpieces. The drying temperature should not exceed 140°C. Higher temperature will cause the discoloration of the passivation coating.

The FIN-70 should be removed with a special degreasing agent.


FIN-80

The FIN-80 is a hexavalent chromium free, inorganic, water-based, alkaline sealant. It is suitable for the post-treatment of the passivated surfaces of zinc and zinc alloy.

Research shows that sealing the passivated zinc coating with the FIN-80 Sealant can increase the NSS test duration to above 400 hours.

The FIN-80 Sealant does not contain volatile organic substances.
